2.a: Introduction

This policy is aimed at describing how we collect and use data about you, which may include your personal information and could be subject to certain data security laws like the GDPR and CCPA. This policy also describes what we do to keep your information safe, and what steps we take in the case that an unauthorized third party accesses your data that is stored on our servers or those of our cloud partners, as well as what rights you have to obtain and delete the data we have collected about you.

This policy does NOT supersede any existing or future signed service agreements.

We will make every effort to notify you of any changes to this policy, but it is ultimately your responsibility to periodically check the policy and review it for any changes. We will indicate if the policy has been changed by updating the date in the “Last Updated” section (section 1.a)

“You”, “yours”, “your”, or “customer” and “Customer”, refer to you, your company, your organization, or any other entity(ies) you represent and

“us”, “our”, “ours”, “Quikit”, “Quikit.org”, “company”, and “the Company”, refer to the Quikit.org company or its representatives.

5.a What information we collect about you

We collect ONLY the following information about you:

  • Data that you provide directly to us during the online sign-up process,
  • your full name,
  • your phone number (if provided),
  • your address (if provided),
  • your email address,
  • anonymous analytical data about how you use our website,
  • data that you provide during any identity verification processes such as (but not limited to) driver’s license numbers or identification numbers,
  • data you include with your profile on Quikit.org or on any websites owned and operated by Quikit,
  • pictures you upload when customizing your profile,
  • or information you provide and is required for us to complete services you have ordered.

6.a What your information is used for

Your information will ONLY be used for the following purposes:

  • To contact you regarding your order or project,
  • to collect payment for services performed or according to a signed payment agreement, invoice, or quote,
  • to refund a payment according to our Refund Policy found on our website,
  • to verify your identity in accordance with applicable law,
  • to report fraud or misuse of our systems,
  • to complete services you purchase or otherwise request the Company to do,
  • to deliver products you purchase online or over the phone,
  • to customize your experience on our website (such as displaying a nickname when you log in),
  • or to reset your password, if you request us to do so by using the online form or by contacting Support.

Analytical information may be collected about how you use our website. This data is anonomized before it is transmitted over the internet or stored on our systems. This information may be collected by using technologies called “cookies” and “sessions”. The data does not contain any information about you except for how you interact with our website. Notwithstanding anonymous analyitcal data collection, some jurisdictions consider this data to be “Personal Data” and require certain companies to include additional disclosures about collecting it.

Your information is never used for marketing purposes unless you explicitly give us permission to do so. The Company is required to keep a record of who has given this special permission and retain a copy of the agreement for every customer in accordance with applicable law.

7.a With whom we share your information

The Company will never share your personal information to any third-party, except those that are required for payment processing, identity verification, or to comply with a valid court order or subpeona.

The Company has an extremely strict, no exceptions policy on CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material). Should any employee, representative, or contractor of Quikit.org discover CSAM on any information systems while completing services requested by the customer, the Company or its’ representative will immediately contact the local authorities and any applicable agencies. The Customer which was initally in posession of the CSAM will still be responsible to pay for any work already completed, any parts that have already been purchased by the Company to complete the services ordered, or any fees associated with an early cancellation as well as any past due balance or balance due and will be banned from making any future purchases or scheduling any appointments on the website.

8.a Protecting your information

The Company is responsible for following up-to-date industry standard security guidelines for our website, online forms, login systems, billing systems, and any other Quikit.org systems which store your data. In addition to following industry standards, the Company will go above and beyond by enacting periodic reviews of our information systems to ensure data security and to detect any potential breaches.

9.a Obligation to report

The Company has an obligation to report any detected breach in our information systems directly and in a timely fashion to the affected customers via the contact information we have on file.

10.a Reporting a privacy violation to us

If you belive your data has been or is being compromised, please contact support immediately using any of the methods listed in section (section 12.a).

11.a Requesting a copy of or erasing your data

To request that we delete all of the information we store about you, please text the support number in the next section (section 12.a). A support agent will respond and guide you through the process of deleting your information from our systems.
